THE 6TH DANIEL FURR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP TOURNAMENT was held on Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at Connestee Falls in Brevard, NC. We enjoyed perfectly clear cool fall weather and a good turnout of 94 golfers and 18 volunteers. A dozen father/son teams, 3 Brevard College foursomes, and 10 high school players were a part of the field. We enjoyed nice prizes and great food served up by George and Stephanie at the awards dinner. Net proceeds of over $9,000 will provide 12 college scholarships and support a student mission trip to Guatemala next spring. Our precious Lord truly blessed us all by bringing together the perfect assortment of people, prizes, perfect weather, with great food and fun for all. Sandra and Joe wish to especially thank HIM along with all sponsors, donors, volunteers, and golfers who came together to make it of our best events so far.
